Our Tempus Journey

TempusDS was founded in 2011, with a name rooted in the Latin word for “time” – symbolizing our commitment to transforming the building materials supply industry through impactful connections and unparalleled value.

Our journey started in 2003 when Remi Basior moved to Taipei, Taiwan and started building a network of forward-thinking manufacturers across Asia. Soon after, he met Anny Ma, and together, they sparked innovative product development. The vision for TempusDS came to life during a reflective train ride to central Taiwan, where the idea for the US company was born.

Remi took a hands-on approach, supplying Multi-Family Operators with high-quality, cost-effective products directly from Taiwan and other parts of Asia while immersing himself in US development supply challenges. His persistence paid off as he introduced innovative solutions to new markets, refining both the products and evolving company structure. To promote the earlier Taiwanese supply company, Remi traveled throughout TX and other States, visiting developers with a suitcase full of products and unwavering determination, believing in the power of direct supply and innovation.

As TempusDS grew, driven by the trust of our clients, we expanded warehousing in Dallas, TX in 2015. Since then, we’ve steadily grown, constantly redefining how building materials are designed, manufactured, and delivered to create conscious impact for communities and stakeholders.
